edited_IMG_5831The 2014 TVCRN Baby Quilt Show & Children’s Boutique was a success thanks to the generosity of many!

Congratulations to Barbara Huck of Weiser, the People’s Choice Award Winner; Mary Chamberlain of Vale, whose quilt was chosen as the “Judge’s Favorite;” and to Sylvia Johnson, Boise, whose quilt won in the “Best Traditional Baby Quilt” category.

Those winning a quilt in one of our five drawings were Wayne Frey, Anna Grandi, Paula Harlan, Marty Justus, and Scott Masingill.

We would like to thank our sponsors, vendors, volunteers (including board members and staff), and all those who provided quilts and other items for our sale. We especially thank local piano instructor Rebekah Carter and her students for providing music throughout the event which helped to create the perfect atmosphere. Additionally, we thank the TVCC Men’s Basketball team volunteers who assisted us in putting up quilt racks, the Nyssa Chamber of Commerce for letting us borrow the racks, and the Ontario High School National Honor Society members who helped us with set-up and take-down. Finally, we thank the House That Art Built for allowing us to sell remaining items until next year’s event. If you need a special gift for a baby shower or a child’s birthday, it’s waiting for you at House That Art Built!

TVCRN also thank the staff and volunteers of the Four Rivers Cultural Center for providing an amazing venue for our 5th annual event, and the catering staff at Saint Alphonsus Medical Center – Ontario for preparing amazing soup, chowder, and chili! Our gratitude also goes to Lisa Matthews of Treasure Valley Treats for providing cookies for the event.

On behalf of the children and families we serve, many thanks to all who attended – and supported us – whether you purchased a raffle ticket, a quilt, or a silent auction item!
