Ali Douglas, Classroom Assistant

Ask anyone who knows Ali Douglas, and the first thing that comes to mind when they think of her is her warm smile. A recent graduate of Eastern Oregon University with a bachelor of arts degree in music, Ali is also a newlywed. She and Wade Douglas have made their home in Fruitland, Idaho.

Whether she’s making crafts, baking, or playing the piano – which is what she’s likely to be doing indoors – she’s probably humming or singing. She performed with the Treasure Valley Children’s Chorus for 13 years and is a fan of classical and Celtic music. But, you’re just as likely to find her outdoors. Favorite pastimes include hiking,  biking, and going on walks with Wade.

Ali worked as an intern at TVCRN in the summer of 2014 and the following summer was hired as a cook, then as a full-time classroom assistant. Her proud parents, David and Jeanne Patton, are happy to have her back in the western Treasure Valley.

“What I enjoy most about working here is seeing the Relief Nursery mission come to life,” she said. “I love being part of a positive change for this community.”
