Alicia Ruiz, Interventionist

Alicia Ruíz moved to Payette, Idaho from Zacatecas, Mexico, at the age of 2. She met her future husband when he was working in Payette. They married in 2000 and settled in Ontario to raise their family. A former day care owner, who also has her CNA certification, she came to the Relief Nursery in October of 2012.

Spending time with her family is at the top of Alicia’s list of favorite pastimes. She most enjoys doing crafts with her three beautiful daughters, finding ideas from children’s books, magazines – and of course, Pinterest. And, the family is active in the Catholic Church. This TVCRN interventionist also enjoys reading, especially non-fiction and educational books. When she listens to music, it’s classic country or classical music that helps her unwind.

“I enjoy working with the children and parents at the Relief Nursery,” Alicia says. “I find it to be so rewarding to be able to take part in providing the support to parents needed to build the best foundation for their children, which in turn, helps strengthen families in our community.”
